A Legacy of Love

Meet the Owners of Hubbard Chapel — A Family Committed to Forever

Four Generations, One Promise

The Hubbard family built this chapel by hand in 1892, one timber at a time, intending it to outlast them. It has. Three rebuilds, two wars, one pandemic — and through it all, the chapel has hosted weddings on nearly every Saturday it could.

Today we tend the grounds and garden, clean the pews, and meet every couple who comes to visit.  We host one wedding at a time because we believe your day deserves the whole place, not a slot in someone’s rotation.

This is more than a venue. It’s a story we’re honored to be part of, and we’d love to add yours to it.

"We didn't build a venue. We built a place where families come to begin."

— Mary Hubbard, 1892

The Lifelong Dream

The new owners of Hubbard Chapel have spent years dreaming of creating a place where love stories come to life. When they discovered the historic Union Bell Chapel — a beloved community landmark that had weathered 130 years of celebrations before quietly closing in the wake of COVID — they knew they’d found something special worth saving.

Today, with fresh energy and deep respect for the chapel’s legacy, the new owners have lovingly restored this treasured space and thrown open its doors once more. Your forever is in good hands.
